About Our Founder
Zhang Yan is the Founder and CEO of Element (Zhecheng County) Materials Technology Co., Ltd. With more than 20 years of experience in the superhard materials industry, he has worked across market development, production processes, product technology, research and development, domestic and international trade, and company management.
Since founding Element Materials in April 2020, Zhang Yan has led the company’s strategic planning, R&D direction, production management, international market development, and compliance system development.

Under Zhang Yan’s leadership, the company has developed production capabilities for diamond materials, diamond slurry and paste, spherical diamond materials, surface-modified diamond materials, and related advanced abrasive solutions. The company has also worked to strengthen R&D cooperation, production management, international trade capability, quality systems, environmental responsibility, and intellectual property development.
The purpose of building Element Materials is not only to expand production. It is to create a manufacturing organization that can understand customer needs, improve material solutions, manage production responsibly, and support industrial customers over the long term.
